Mojo Cabernet Sauvignon
The inclusion of Cabernet into the range was a huge inspiration to me. There is no better region suited to Cabernet than the climate and rich terra rossa soil of Coonawarra. I love heading down to this region as it’s quite sentimental being that it reminds me so much of the countryside where I grew up in Western Victoria. Adding more sentiment is the fact that the big eucalypts throughout the area seem to leave their indelible mark on the wine itself with the same distinct character coming through, along with a throng of blackcurrant and mint. The pristine little berries we harvest each year gives me the ability to leave these parcels for a vast amount of time on skins, creating a serious amount of texture to compliment the flavour.
