Helen's Hill Estate The Nemesis Single Vineyard Arneis
Family owned and operated, Helen’s Hill has evolved from a small boutique winery to a major Yarra Valley producer with stunning wines like this crisp Arneis.
Arneis, an Italian variety from Piedmont, was used for centuries to soften the Nebbiolo in the wines of the Barolo region. The grapes for this wine were fermented with wild yeast in old French oak barriques, then barrel matured for a further 11 months.
Opens with aromas of stonefruit, quince and grilled nuts before a palate full of crisp lemon and granny smith apple fruit intensity, layers of melon, quince and stonefruit, lovely texture and almond meal-like length.
